can i preserve a cookie? i want to make this batch of cookies last a lifetime. they were the last thing baked by my mother

There is several clear coats (polyurethane) out there that you can buy at your local hardware. I would use a clear EPOXY finish that can be bought near the tile section, and it won't turn Yellow.
I would dip them and hang them, 2 or 3 times should do it.
